The 2010 week 8 booze cruise was definitely legendary! Oh the memories Thanks for the report. Glad you had a great time and the weather was good. Last year the weather was so so and this year in mid feb it was the same so glad it warmed up for you. I love the week 8 group. Very nice people in mid feb but the craziness was just not on the same level.
it is all about who is on the boat with you. it makes it the real deal when everyone clicks. to bad about the bikini, that sucks. the sun tan oil stained one that connie was wearing. she got a white lace one from dangerous curves & cant get the stains out.
bikini I guess the best is to not wear one at all then you don't have to worry about stains!! Have been to TTR 13 time never been on a Steve's Boobs Cruise working on our first one this April!! Can't come soon enough!!
Going back to the booze cruise thing, I already Pm'd with Jeff and Janet but probably ought to say something public too. As others have mentioned it all depends on the day and the crowd, also the weather. This cruise we had 26 people sign up but only 13 of those showed on the day - I expect mainly due to bad weather the day before. The deposit system has worked quite well on increasing turn out but not this particular trip it seems. There were 4 extra people not from cancuncare (making a total group of 17 which is about as few as we ever get) that someone from the forum invited along on the day, the 2 guys were still drunk from the night before and the 2 girls they were with were not really into the whole sexy topless thing. The weather wasnt perfect (quite windy and rougher than normal sea) and with the low numbers it was probably a little more subdued than usual and not quite so many tops flying from the mast. This is part of the reason I always try to strive for 30 folks at least - the more people the bigger the party. But it's impossible to predict no shows or the weather and rather than cancel we go with what we have and try to make the best of it. That said I know there were quite a few folk on this particular trip that had a real fun time. Roxie and Kay and Graham come to mind. Also took along one of my wifes friends and she hasnt stopped talking about it since - a few people clubbed together and bought her a pass back to the hotel for more drinks after. Sorry you guys didnt have as fun a time as you expected, but I think the Boobs Cruise means different things to different people, and while I try to make sure it meets everyones expectations it's not always possible given the variables involved.
Hi Janet and Jeff and all those we shared our vacation with, Thanks for a memorable vacation. I think another part of the problem (probably a wrong choice of words) with Steve's cruise was the fact we stopped to eat just as the party was getting going and seemed to ruin a good buzz for some. Antonio and the rest of the crew did their best to keep the party going but.... Yes, I don't think some of the girls knew what they were getting into and didn't like tequila (which everyone knows makes the clothes fall off). Every good team (and cruise) needs chemistry (attitude and tequila) to become "legendary". I certainly would not miss the cruise while in Cancun and still had a good time. And yes, Janet's bikini was outstanding!:headbanger: Len and Vicki
Steve, you are right on. Numbers is the key(chemestry). We had a great time. Vicki especially enjoyed dancing on the boat and in the bar on Isla Mujeras with the "locals". We won the toilet plunger game after lunch which was fun. We met some great prople on the boat, including yourself and your wife's friend. When we got off the boat, we walked for over an hour in the wrong direction and then an hour and a half back, when we originally only had to go two blocks. Wow - and to think I had such an amazing time with just the small group of us!! I'm so deathly scared of boats - the fact that you guys had me forget the fact that I was on a boat and get dancing around was amazing!
