I appreciate all the planning that has gone into making everyone's time at TTR fun and exciting, but speaking only for myself, sometimes our everyday lives involves so much scheduling and routine that when I go away on holiday I would prefer to fly by the seat of my pants knowing that there are so many options but not willing to commit because you never know what you will feel like doing in the moment. So many of the themes sound awesome but you are right when you say you can't please everyone all the time!!! Can't wait to just get there for fun in the sun....and more fun under the moon!!!
Amen brother (T & J)!!! We just said the same thing. It can be more stressful planning for vacation that working for a living. Toes in the water, ass in the sand and who cares about the rest. My only thing I can't forget is sunscreen as Cindy has a hard time reaching all those fun spots and needs my help so I don't want to let her down. Here's to fun under the moon!
Although I somewhat agree, the problem is that if you don't know what themes are happening while you're there, you won't be able to participate when you get there. If you aren't into theme nights then there's no worry...but I'd hate to be eager to participate only to realize I didn't bring the right stuff to wear! Just my two cents...
We really like all of the ideas that have been thrown out there. So far we are understanding that there is going to be a school girl night on the 5th. Are guys wearing kilts or school boy outfits that night? Also the resort has a lingerie night on the 7th. We have heard something about a white night, costume night, glow night, and girls in white dress shirts. These all sound like fun. We agree with the stress of planning the events nights but once decided it will be lots of fun. I want to get to shopping and am holding off until we are more confident in what to buy for the themes. Oh yeah and is white night like white lingerie or dressy white night?
Who wants a green day around the pool? Or pick a color I have 35 bikinis I am sure one will fit in with the theme. Flag day is fun too in which case I would be the one with the maple leaf on my ass.
Don't think we own anything in green, but a flag day could be interesting! I'm sure we could find something, and since Beth is American and I'm Canadian it could make for some fun We leave on the 7th, but whatever is planned before then we'll definitely try to participate in! Jeff & Beth
International day worked for the may group last year. During the day get swim suits/bikinis w country's emblem or colours
