That would be funny for sure. Does not matter anyway -after the teachers unions are done - we won't have any college students. they are all out on sick leave. I am just tired of my government spending money on BS that ain't gonna stop shit and wastes my time. As Chinos would say - show me your rule and I will show you how to break it.
A couple of other thoughts on why there is gun crimes: 1) High number of people living in poverty 2) Broken families - absent fathers 3) Sometimes crystal meth or crack cocaine and eight straight days of no sleep can you you think shooting someone is a really good idea.
I'm sure someone would have stepped up and announced," OK...before we get this brawl underway I just want to remind everyone...NO GUNZZIES OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED".
Any bets on how long it took before that someone "got popped"? When I see this clip, I cant help but think about what the outcome could have been with some +100 firearms involved...(speculating on the number of kids in the cafeteria..)
Thanks for your input. Canadian's in rural locations have similar stories regarding the weapons they own for hunting. It's a common lifestyle. I agree that Canada is seeing far more gang rated violent crime than we have ever seen on the past. Stepping out on the "politically incorrect" limb, it's amazing and disconcerting how much of that is attributed to immigrant gangs. Vietnamese gangs are very prominent in news stories. It occurs to me, as well, that a major difference between Canada and the U.S. is the percentage of people said to be living in poverty. I have heard as high as 20% in the U.S. (though this is likely an inflated number provided by groups who have an interest in social programs, etc.) Nevertheless, it's a far higher percentage than in Canada. If we subtracted the violent crime related to poverty and drugs I think the number of gun related crimes in the U.S. would be dramatically less. I really think it's time to re-evaluate the "War on Drugs". It's a losing battle that is costing billions. Legalize pot, at least, and take it out of the hands of gangs. (For the record..I don't smoke it..lol).
Ewww are we not stirring the pot... or should I say you are stirring the pot.. could get a bit warm in here..LOL
I grew up in a large family where debating was the favorite pastime. Everyone was able to raise points and voice opinions, without censorship and regardless of merit. Some stuff was completely wrong but thrown out there for consideration. Issues were rarely settled or mutually agreed upon but we all learned a lot and had an opportunity to develop more informed opinions as a result of everyone contributions. I think that is what free speech is all about. I hope my posts are taken in this spirit.
