hey there guys, send me a pm, with your email address and I will do my best to let you know the good..bad..and the ugly..lol, I am sure it will all be fine, we have talked to a few people on here in the past few weeks, that are going to be there when we are, so I am pretty certain that all will be ok, barring the fact I ended up naked the first day, and get kicked out... KIDDING keith
hey there Kelly/ Jeff thx for the report on the resort, we have meet some great people on Cancuncare, that are going to be on vacay the same, or part of the time we are there, so I am sure it will all be fine. Just a question though, where/ or where not would you suggest for rooms..Keith
We too were there when it was Desire, but are going back mid-April with some that we met last time. Looking forward to the rooftop hot tub, a major minus (for us) at Cancun. We will be posting some theme night ideas on here once we firm up our dates.
We'll post a detailed TR and maybe some pics after our trip starting Saturday! Skippy: I hope we are not part of the "ugly". LOL!
There did not seem to be a whole lot of rooms that seemed much better than others. We stayed in a third floor jacuzzi room, which was in great location. The jacuzzi was nice, but replaced the balcony that may have gotten more use than the jacuzzi. 356 & 357 were jacuzzi rooms on our floor, and 358 was a corner room with a nice balcony which would be my pick for our next Cabo visit. The rooms on the south side of the resort were about the same but I don't know the room numbers. There are not that many rooms in the resort and I would try to get as close to the pool/ocean end as possible.
We have been to both once. Cabo is a newer hotel and is in better shape. The no reservations is a huge + for me in cabo we were there in Jan hotel was 100% booked and we waited no longer then 5 min for a table. The games are definately a little more fun in Cancun (very disapointed there was no crazy tequila volleyball) Also the beach had a black flag the entire time we were there which im told is pretty much standard and there is no topless allowed on the beach I had an absolutely amazing time at both resorts but in truth i think i would give a slight edge to cabo as the resort is much smaller and you seem to meet everyone there.
bart interesting - we were thinking about upgrading to one of the jacuzzi suites but what i sense from you is a "no dont do it" can you explain more? we are going to be there for like 9 nights and was thinking we might want to do this also have fun in new orleans next week and let me know what you find for us rob/t
I hope I am not part of the ugly either..I will ask the ladies around the resort, we will take a poll..lol
