Has anyone been to both Temptations Resorts?

As far as how Temptation Cabo has changed since switching over from Desire, there are a couple of changes. The biggest change is that there is no longer a "play room" for people to "play" in...lol. The other big thing is the addition of the new wing of the Barcelo hotel next door that looks down on the resort....this was a big deal. The guests at the resort did not want people next door looking down and "staring" at them when they were topless. When we were there last time, we sure gave the construction workers there a few shows....don't think they got much work done...lol. The resort now has some structures to block the view of the Barcelo. As afer as the people go, obviously you have single guests instead of it being couples only. Another thing is that there is a whole lot less sexual activity taking place in view of others. The resort is a lot less "wild" party wise as well.

What we like about Temp. Cabo is it's "quaint" size. Small enough to make it cozy and for people to really get to know each other. We also like the more personalized service...the workers get to know you and really seem to care about good service.
Yes, even without the playroom it is a great place. The play room sure made for some very "unique" entertainment though...lol

i for one am kinda looking forward to the more intimate setting and as far as partying goes it will be nice to relax a touch too if i i like without feeling guilty if i don't party 24/7

in cancun they always make me feel like crap when im not partying 24/7

I think mixing the two groups is a great idea, right now jim and i torn between retutning to TTR and going the week before or a few days into each to see both groups or going to cabos.It would be great if the two groups could unite and we would defintly make our decision easier nad we too would be able to experience something different.In the past we have gone to dominican and went with friends for weddings and even tho they were friends we found it to be completely boring in comparison to TTR...so to do the switch to cabos would be ok as it has the same atmophere and great friends that we have known to luv.Keep us posted and we will definetly have to come to a decision by feb.

hey there guys, I am not sure if you still read this forum, but I noticed you guys were there in April..how was it, Lynn and I are going to Cabo for our first time on the 28th..Monday. We have been to TTR Cancun, but thought we would give this place a try. Where would you suggest the best location for rooms, if we have options..or are there any bad rooms..any thoughts would be great..keith

 

Skippy. We've been to Cancun twice and are heading to Cabo for the first time later this spring. Like you, we're looking for any info that may make our trip more enjoyable. Would you mind giving a trip report when you return? Have fun!

 

Been to Temptation Cancun 2 times last year in Cabo ...I must say i like Cancun alote better much more people and fun to be had and a awesome night life ...other then then the Hot Tub in Cabo and the night life being at the resort in cabo ...Im heading back to Cancum mid March Cant Wait ...

 

Jeff and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Cabo! We were there when it was Desires, but have not been back since it turned into Temptations. We just went to Temp Cancun this last May with 5 other couples and had a BLAST! However, Jeff and I both agree that Cabo was much more nice, the weather was a lot less humid in Cabo and we felt we got a better quality resort for the money. We met the most ridiculously fun people in Cabo and really had a great time! Point being, both resorts were a lot of fun, but we are planning to go back to Cabo this year and just looking for the right group dates to join! So, when is everyone going for sure??? - Kelly
