Hey Everyone. I'm pretty new to the board, and wanted to get some advice on spring break party packages. I'm going to be at Tucancun from the 17th to the 24th. My buddies and i want to buy a party package from either STS or Student City. Cancun Spring Break Party Packages - Book your Cancun Spring Break Party Package online at www.ststravel.com or call 1-800-648-4849 Sts Cancun Spring Break 2011 Party Packages - StudentCity Student City. The STS one includes a cruise but other than that, the Student City one is more expensive. I have concerns that by buying a package, we will be "forcing" ourselves to be at certain clubs on certain nights, but from what i hear, in cancun, that's not a problem. I also don't want to get stuck in line all night long so we figured the packages could come in handy. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations about spring break packages? This is my 4th straight year to Cancun and I usually do the student city package. Last year I did the STS one and the sts people were kinda shady. Student city was pretty lenient. If I wanted to trade one of my passes in to switch the club I was going to that night they'd always do it for me.
forget the package I am staying at the same hotel. The hotel have a bus that will take you out at night and get table service, you just buy the wristband.
Thanks for the input guys. Staying with the hotel, will that cost run higher? Some of the people traveling with me are running on a tighter budget than others, and some are concerned about waiting in line at clubs. And John, When you say shady, i mean did you run into any trouble at all though?
Forget the party packages, a complete waste of time. Just choose where YOU want to go each night and make your own party. The other places will be plenty busy.
It won't be no more expensive than going off on your own. You will not wait in line and the bar staff won't be so gravalicious for money because the hotel staff put them in line. When you say tight budget how much are you talking? I guess the beauty of a week pass is you know your guaranteed to do something everynight. Just not my thing though.
When you get the party packages though, do a lot of the places you go to wind up being sausage fests though? I hear it is with the party stop pass thing? Does that apply with the this?
What he said.... I did the party packages the first year or two -- but most places are good most nights. If you end up getting a party package... you're committed to a certain place on a certain night. Not only does that guarantee virtually no room to walk around once you get in the place - but could mess things if you meet someone at the pool during the day or something.
I don't know much about those packages but last year I found a guy at oasis selling 60USD packages to go to 6 different venues in that same night. After 3 places I stayed at Senor Frogs though because I was having a blast!!!
