I'm curious? For 11 months out of the year, everyone comes to Cancun for the weather, scenery, and the night time scene that stays open til 5-9am. But it seems to me, that most ppl here are only concered about what is happening at the Student City hotel of choice. Why? I have been coming to Cancun every year for 10 years before I moved here and never once did going to a SB HQ hotel become such a priority. So many hotels offer a great time during SB. Last year I visited friends at a hotel and there were body shots happening everywhere... security taking ppl to their rooms in wheelchairs... seemed like a pretty crazy scene to me. Your trips are booked, so take advantage of your vacation and party hard. Unless you are at Le Blanc , Aqua, or the Royal, most hotels are alot of fun during the day...but the nights are what makes trips. Like someone else mentioned, thousands of people come here and are clueless as to what Student City is and where the HQ hotel is. Take a deep breathe, get down here and enjoy.
It is not studencity that concerns it it is where the best daytime party will be that interests me. In 07 i went to visit the oasis palm beach hotel and that was a good daytime spot. 08 was spent at oasis cancun in the days and that was even better. Looks like student city is an epic fail! no skin off my nose! lets make oasis as good as it has been in recent years!!!!!
I mean I booked through Student City....still gonna enjoy all the perks like pregame parties and such...But its CANCUN..Your foolish if you cant find fun.
IM 100% With you on that. For me the day parties are the reason i love cancun. Its overall great vibes, and just a great way to spend the day in the pool, shootin the shit with total strangers, people watching etc. Night time is like any other city, hot sweaty meat market. Not as much my thing, still enjoy it though but its not what brings me to CANCUN. Remembering how much i've enjoyed prior years when the day parties were at the Oasis is probably why myself and others are curious about the HQ. Just trying to capture a bit of nostalgia i suppose.
Look around....there is maybe 50 people on these boards who are all going to have a good time, who cares where the HQ is or student city.... we are all gonna be there to have a good time....Lets MAKE a party wherever we are!! There is gonna be enough of us!
