Just back (kinda long maybe boring)

ok, well myself and 3 other ladies were there last nov. there was only one small incedent where a group of single guys were hanging out at patios. one guy just diddnt want to take no for an answer. the bar tenders were quick to put a stop to that!!! they do watch what goes on. i mean its thiere bread and butter, they want people to keep coming back. the guy the next day ws very embarrased, and apologetic for being an ass. my hubbie and myself have been 4 times now and are returning in aug. its a great place and very fun. if you dont feel safe then you sould go elsewhere, if we diddnt feel safe believe you me we wouldnt go.

 

4 trips, headed to 5th, never had any problems. But after sitting by pool drinking all day, we usually aren't out WAAAAY late, I am old ;-) Agree that boorish behavior can happen anywhere, it's about the people, not their demographic. But I also agree that the inside of a Mexican jail is not a tourist site I'd ever like to see

I'll go back to my nice happy thoughts of being poolside in 4 days.....that is all....

 

Based on what you've written, you are saying that you've never even been to TR? And are warning others of the dangers of TR?

 

Tere, Huh? Granted my typing and formating was not the best yesterday, but I was getting tired from all the typing. How in what you copied do you arrive that I was not at the resort? Would you like me to list all the resorts Domestic and International that I have been at and then you can quiz me to see if I was actually there? We can agree to disagree on certain things and that is fine, that is what makes this world go around. I never said dont travel, live under a rock, single guys are evil. I was just replying to a thread (that was started by somone else ). I also stated this is a very common thread on this board, none by the way which where started by me. If you go to trip advisor there are several posts saying people had problems with mainly large groups of single guys. Again not saying single guys should be banned or that married guys cannot cause problems. It does seem though that are large percentage of the problems are caused by groups of young single men.

 

One other note I think people on this board should be allowed to express their opinion even if it is slightly negative, without others taking it as if it was a personal attack on them. It seems like if any negative opinion is ever expressed the person is attacked by some of the diehards on here. It seems a lot of people that call themself respectful on here are only that way if you agree with them. I noticed that this board seems to form cliques, I thought that kind of stuff went away after high school.

In that quote you like to party in an atmosphere like TR or Hedo...but in your posts, I didn't recall that you have said that you have actually been to TR. So I wondered if you, not Trip Advisor reviews or others, have actually been there? And what your personal experience was?
The police/emt in the US are not candidates for sainthood either...although you did add for the most part, which is why I included that part in the quote. I agree that there is no where (except maybe a deserted island) that you are totally safe from the actions of others.
The drink spiking does happen everywhere and I wish it didn't. There are no easy answers on how it might be eliminated.

 

Be careful of what???? You still haven't said what's happend and what was so bad. Your letting people think the worst instead of putting the record straight.
