I was there Dec26/jan3. In that period they got the pool heater going. They must have been experimenting with it cause they turned the hole pool into a hot tub!
I did get the same advertisement for the pool party - I am e-mailing a friend that will let me know for sure - I will post when I hear something back.
If you have bought whites for the Martini white night that seems to have been replaced by the pool party on Friday night - why not organise your own white night on Saturday?? Meims is proposing: Monday - naughty school girls (and boys) night Tuesday - t-shirts from your own country, team, or just your favourite one. (just t-shirts and stockings for the girls). Wednesday - Glow night Thursday is lingerie night Friday is pool party night Make Saturday white night and have Sunday as a day of rest!
i had a friend return lat week and he said there was no swimming in the pool and the the wires for the tv scenes nd light were strung from the buffet wall across the pool, can anyone clarify what the situation is?
James this is starting to sound like a right bummer of an idea. Sure we can come up with some kind of party within our group lol
I didn't get there until Saturday and everyone I asked about it didn't attend or even know about it. This might have been weather related? As when I arrived Saturday morning it was pouring rain. As for swimming, the pool was ice cold Sunday and Monday so if allowed no one would have wanted to go in anyway. Their first priority should be getting that heater working right.
If we can't actually go in the pool, then it's not really a "pool party" is it? It's just a party next to the pool, in which case they might as well just keep it at Paty-O's. Let's hope your friend's experience was not the norm, otherwise this will be one lame "pool party".
