14th time at Temptation but first time without the husband! This should be fun! Friend and I will be there May 17 - 25.
I had to get a new passport a couple years ago (they expire after 10 years I think). There had been a several month backlog due to the need for passports to Canada or Mexico. However, the backlog was pretty much gone (this being autumn 2007) and my new passport came in less than 3 weeks. You can pay for expedited service which might be worth it if time was tight. And then get ready for a fun time at TTR!!!

Glad to see you're leaning towards coming to Temptation! If you do, it looks like you'll be there around the same time as us. We'll be happy to show you the ropes once you arrive. Best advice I can give is to simply be open to whatever while you're here and just go with the flow. If you feel like relaxing and doing nothing, do that. If you feel like participating in all the crazy fun and games at the sexy pool (which I highly recommend) then do that. It's your vacation. Make it what you want it to be, but be open to new experiences as well. Based on my own experience, I can say that the more you get involved, and the friendlier you are, the more fun you'll have. For us the best part was all the great people we met. It's good just having folks to sit and chat with around the pool, to go to lunch with, and to dance and drink with in the evenings. And if you're open to making friends and hanging out with all different kinds of folks, then you won't have any trouble on that score. For instance, on our last trip, the group we hung out with ranged in age from early thirties to late fifties, and included an Iowa farmer, a New York cop, a business owner from Michigan, and a graduate student from Texas (me) - as well as a few wild and crazy couples from England who were close to my parents age. So yeah, if you're open to a wild time with a mix of people you'd probably never have the chance to hang out with otherwise, you'll do just fine
