For those who booked with Be Live, did you have to pay anything upfront or are you paying the stay at the desk? My reservation for March 14-19 says that I don't have to make the pay until I get to the desk. Just making sure. Last thing I want to be is resortless in Mexico!
You give them your credit card and they will charge it when you check in. Be aware of the 3% forex fee. Be aware of the ongoing lawsuit and other issues that may arrise.
Your credit card will charge you 3% for any dollar spent outside the united states. The lawsuit brings up Alot of issues im sure u can read up on it.
I've looked around but I didn't find anything conclusive... what EXACTLY would be the issues we guests could have with the lawsuit / name change? :icon_redface:
From my point of view guests are really not affected. It was only hard to book this year as most of the tour ops didnt have the oasis/belive in their program. For those who booked the hotel as a package and are confirmed: - Check with your operator if everything is fine / Otherwise every reliable company would inform you if there is any trouble ahead. ;-) so NO worries For those who booked directly with the Hotel: - What should happen? YOu booked with the Company who is running the hotels. Do you think they would just ignore you as a paying customer? For my oppinion, its to much craziness spread because it doesnt affect us as customers directly (beside from the trouble booking the place)
I'm glad then! I bought the flight and still have to book the hotel... I've always went to the Oasis every time I was in Cancun, but if you suggest another, "better" one, I might make a change!
