We leave from the UK and arrive afternoon 20th Feb for a week. I got thinking today about how many lovely treats that are unique to different countries there are and wondered whether anyone else coming during the same week would like to exchange items from our own countries. For example I would happily trade some Cadbury's chocolate or Walkers Crisps for Twizzlers or Hersheys..... Good Idea?
I could go for days with the naughty treats I love from the states. Jolly Ranchers, Aunt Jemimas pancake mix, Dentyne fire chewing gum..... Although I have been known to leave here with a case filled with Crisps, chocolate, crumpets, English tea and bizarrely Heinz baked beans (beans were for Steve and caused the most confusion with the Mexican bag scanners) What would you like bringing for you?
Try to get a Canadian to bring you some ketchup potato chips. I won't be there then but they are a guilty pleasure.
Where do I send my shopping list I'm wasting away here. I can swap you for a couple of churros and a bag of chicken feet. Seriously though. Lots of American goodies available here. Let's fix it up.
Happy to bring out more supplies at the end of April - Wills and Kate tea-towel? Not so keen on the chicken feet tho:uk1:
Ok so I'm gonna bite.... Whats a beaver tail? Is that some kind of euphemism? Steve, Give me your list and i'll do as much as I can. Only restriction is Thomas Cook giving crappy baggage allowances again so you can get a whole load more crisps than tins of beans for your weight x x
We arrive Sunday February 20th, we have a couple packages of Twizzlers one is Hershey Chocolate Twizzler. See you in when you get there. Kathy and Ray
