ahhh i had no idea! I drink soda when i go out to eat... which is about 4 meals a week...... but other than that... I drink about 6-8 bottles of water a day myself. when i work out, I don't drink anything at all, but I drink 1/5 bottle of Gatorade Zero after my workout..... and about 1/3 bottle of water in between sets. I do 3 sets of 35 minutes on the elliptical. Today It was about 9 miles. Took about 1hr 45mins with little 3 minute breaks in between each set. I would assume it was about 1000 calories burned. I take pics with my touch I should add the numbers up. I do this 7 days a week. Some nights I feel soooo energized that after I get off work at midnight I go back and do another 45 mins. I can't help it.... it's addicting! lol. If you don't consume AT LEAST 1500 calories a day, your body goes into starvation mode and it stores fat!!! My RD told me to eat 6 meals a day. I have 2 eggs for breakfast, sometimes with white whole grain toast and some "I cant believe its not butter". Every 2 hours in between the main 3 meals I have to eat 1 full cup of fruit(usually frozen fruit) or a cheese stick and a spoonful of peanut butter. For meals I can have meat but no bigger than a deck of cards or the size of my palm(imagining I had no fingers), one scoop of rice, and i can eat as many veggies as i want throughout the day because they are a "free food". That is from the chick perspective. I wouldn't know anything about bulking up... but when I'm depressed Turkey Hill Rocky Road Ice Cream sure seems to bulk me up hahaha <3
recommended calorie intake varies from person to person. it's not necessarily 1500 calories a day. on an average day you'll burn a certain amount of calories just doing basic activities so if you calculate how many calories your body uses per day on average(based on age, weight, height, gender and how often you exercise) and then base your calorie intake on that you'll probably be more successful in the long run than if you are eating too many or too few calories.

5-10 lbs in 40 days should be a piece of cake, i lost 25 lbs in 45 days before going to cancun last summer. Dropped from 205 to 180 just by drinking tons, and i mean tons of water, its suppresses ur appetite and promotes weight loss, its like a double whammy. Prob not safe to lose so much weight so fast but i didnt want any dudes confusing me for a topless chick! Good luck
Dido. I think it will be a piece of cake too. Lots of water is a must. TOns of fruits and veggies will help too. They'll keep you full without packing on the pounds.
No offense, but false. Fruits contain sugars, so eating too much of them will do the exact opposite of what you're hoping it does. Green vegetables on the other hand, yes, excellent for you.
i eat 2 apples, and a banana everyday... sometimes blueberrys with my greek yogurt.. and its helping carve out my lower belly!
