Steve - What's the maximum amount of people for a private hire? Lookin like the beginning of May could be a sellout.

    Kudos to Steve

    This is an excellent idea!
We were recently on a booze cruise where there was over 30 people confirmed to go. Unfortunately on the day of the cruise less than half showed up in the morning. We didn't stay at Temptations Resort and our party of 4 committed on this site and met Steve at the Marina the morning of the cruise. It was a bummer to see the disappointment Steve had when he reluctantly told us we would be cruising with others not familiar with the usual CancunCare party. We totally understood and despite that had a great day with some fun friendly people. We are in full support of the deposit that's now required to make people "shit or get off the pot" so Steve or Cruise staff doesn't loose money. Kudos to you Steve for doing what you do.

    Steve,

Looking forward to a return to Cancun soon! The booze cruise we did with you was absolutely amazing!! I don't see why there should be a problem with sending a deposit. I remember a handfull of no-shows on our cruise as well. Thankfully we had enough people!

How's Cacun during New Year's Eve? Oh boy, the gears in my brain are beginning to spin!!!!! Do you smell smoke?

great idea steve, you can only get screwed so many times before you have to take action. We would be happy to pay the deposits ahead of time. What is the total cost of the cruises per person?I dont remember them being 65$ each.

Yes, you can use a credit or debit card, and it will automatically take care of conversions - debiting in local currency whatever is the equivalent of $25 USD on the day.

Maximum amount is 50 for which we use the largest boat. If we go higher than that then we split to two smaller boats. Having too many people has never been a problem, it's when we have too few that things get awkward. Our biggest event so far (a nighttime cruise in May 2005) was 108 people.

Total cost is $65, $25 deposit then $40 balance on the day. It's been $65 for well over a year now, before that they were $55 for the previous 3 years :)

Brilliant idea, nothing worse then getting excited for the cruise only to find a load of people just can't be arsed to go.
