If you don't tip in clubs, you won't drink much. You also tip the maid, the guy who carries your bags, and the shuttle driver from the airport. it's just the way it is.

i had a good relationship with the doorman and i knew spanish so 20 is what he accepted i knew people who paid 50 plus tipping the security guards on the floor you are on
or just dont let them see the wrist band? We met people last time in Cancun, and no one at our hotel gave us a hard time when they came back to hangout.. they just didn't serve them drinks, or allow them to eat!
If we are going to give generous tips we are better of getting a table and they will bring over jugs of drink and bottles. Nuno you sound like your going to be on the same level as me and i know henry wants bottle service.
My budget for Cancun is around 1500 to 2000$ hopefully I won't spend it all but if I do I won't complain I'll leave credit cards at home just bringing the cash with me and the 250$ on 1 dollar bills to tip left n right lol
