Nice, very impressive. I only play doctor in bed with girls. When it comes to real medical stuff, I see blood and faint.

Agree with Nuno...$10 is the perfect amount, up front. I have never had any issues doing this...it's amazing the memory that the waiters have. I have had multiple times where the bars are surrounded 10 people deep. The bartender will see me, signal "same round", and after I nod / thumbs up, have my drinks within minutes. Others may wait for 15-30 minutes or more, and for those not tipping (at least $1 or $2 per round), it might just not happen.

Often, it will be my bro and I at the bars...and the $10 covers both of us. For a really good server, might throw in another $10 during the middle of the night. Have never had any issues getting drinks...and the $10 upfront is MUCH better than $1 or $2 every round...it's pretty easy to hit the 5 round mark!

Totally agree with esteban, my friend and I bring $5 each and one of us gives $5 to the bartender up front and the other just gives him $1 every couple of drinks. It is definitely worth it when you don't have to stand and wait for your drinks

    Tipping

Here is another tip that I have done the works great...One time in Congo Bongo, there was a group of six of us. I just added $20 to the total cost of the all inclusive...If it was $40, I asked for $60. I then found a waiter and told him I want 6 beers and 6 mixed drinks, he looked at me funny. I then dropped him a twenty dollar bill...He never left my side, everybody walked out drunk and happy and we never waited for drinks...Well worth it!!!!

If you are going all the way to Cancun and worrying about an extra couple of bucks for tips, I feel bad for you!!

I didn't realise tipping would be so cheap. I was thinking it would be $5 a drink and seeing as you'd probably go up for drinks 10+ times it would get expensive every night.

cancun isn't really that far away. You can defs have a good time but on a budget. I can't afford to go there and just blow $1000. I've been on trips to miami, new york and chicago in the last couple of months. And have trips planned for vegas, california in May. and two music festivals in the summer, girl's holiday to gran canaria. a month traveling in thailand. and hopefully going to ibiza again for the closing parties. All of that and I'm a student without a job relying on the bank of mummy and daddy.so that's why i'm thinking beforehand about things like this. so i don't cme back with a massive credit card debt I can't afford

I have a budget of $500 for 6 nights in cancun. not all inclusive. So i'm obviously gunna look at ways I can save without cutting down on the fun. I think I'll play it by ear. Being a girl, I can always get a guy to get my drink if it's taking too long. :p

Yah, I think we should be able to manage it. Eating is cheating anyway. So I'm not planning on spending much money on food and we're not gunna do any trips or watersports.
