Was just about to book the Grand Oasis and came across the below link:
Be Live Grand Cancun - Cancun Hotels - Sunwing Vacations

Under 'Policies' it states the below:
Minimum age requirement at hotel is 18 yrs of age at time of check-in. If under 18 years pax must have a chaperone of a min age of 25 years old
    • No pets allowed
    • Student / Youth Groups (Spring Breakers) are not accepted at this hotel! Student / Youth ages are considered between the ages of 18 - 24 years of age.

Can someone provide more detail? Would there be very few spring breakers at the Grand?

There will be plenty of breakers at Grand (that's the great majority of their business). I've seen plenty of under 25 people staying there. The policy is either new or not enforced at all.

    Hi guys,

Apologies for coming back to this topic, I'm still yet to receive a response from my email to infomex@belivehotels.mx

If I'm staying at the Grand Oasis:
I can definitely access all Oasis areas? (day parties, bars, restaurants etc.)
I can definitely stay at a friend's (or girl's) room in Oasis?
I may be able to bribe security to allow me to bring someone from Oasis (or another hotel) into my room at Grand Oasis?

    Thanks,

Wow finally joined a forum with loads of people going cancun. Was about time!!!
My 1st trip to Cancun and the excitement is starting to creep in.
Not liking some of the reviews I'm getting about the Grand Oasis (cos I'm staying there) but it's cool just looking to party all day and sleep only when I have to!
