I have heard that its brutal.. My son in Law has it and he said that you really have to be in good shape to do it .. soo I guess that leaves me out.. Thank god.. lol
Hey Partydollbabe! I wouldn't say I'm in really good shape! But for a 51 year old woman, I am in better shape than most of the 50 year old women around here....that's for sure! I was doing an aerobic workout first to get ready for this DVD, but all that did was get me into cardiac shape. I am fast learning how weak my arm muscles are, hell.....I am learning I have muscles in places I didn't know I had muscles????? And I am a nurse!!!!!!! Just never use them...that's all....Well, I'm using them now...and it hurts....
(bitch session) so.. weigh in this morning .. and I lost .. nothing!.. its driving me crazy.. makes me want to quit.. I dont know WTF is going on .. I have tried to do some reasearch and its all over the map on what to do.. they say if you are working out doing arobics and lifting more than 3 days a week.. then you are gaining musle.. well big deal.. I dont want to be the weight (size) I am with musel.. lol if I was on Jenny Craig.. and not doing one lick of exercise .. I would be loosing 1.5 to 3 lbs a week.. my calorie intake is the same as doing the Jenny diet.. 1200 to 1300 calories per day.. but way better food.. no white starches, nothing processed, low carb fruit.. high fiber grain breads, salads and lean protine ..I eat 6 to 7 times a day... exercise 5 to 6 times a week.. grrrr.. I just dont get it and its been 3 weeks... .. ;(

I plan on picking up a book today called the 17 day diet, my sister is trying it and she lost 6.5 lbs her first week, I think her first, anyways from what I heard it sounds like a good idea and your allowed red wine.. so sounds perfect for me. I will squeeze in some time for crunches, and stairs.. I'm going to do this.. and here's to still hoping we will be there in April to show off LOL cheers... and give it more time Partdollgirl.
Kim hun, THE SCALE LIES< THE MIRROR DOESN'T!!!!! Muslce weighs more than fat. Give it some time. Take from someone who's been doing this for many years. Be patient
yeah I will give it more time.. cant say as i wount go and do Jenny again.. but I will keep the exercise up.. and I hope you do make it in April !!!..
Good so I am not alone here, down 9 pounds in the last 18 days, 6 days a week in the gym, 6 meals Salad, Tuna and Chicken (no dressing) and weigh protein a day, and a cup of fruit before workout's. Starting to go a little crazy! Partygirl don't worry, I always go up two pounds when I start training\dieting befroe the weight starts to come off Almost back to TTR April 2010 weight, LOL
Thanks Dan.. I guess I will put the scale away.. and weigh once a week or something.. maybe I should have measured instead... but I dont feel a difference in my clothes yet either.. so.. I guess that is the frustrating part.. I do however have this little musel in my arm that is sticking out a bit if I flex it .. .. haha!!
