Day parties are not overrated. Oasis IS day time party central. I spend pretty much all day at Oasis and I love it.

I just don't like to stay at crappy hotels. At Omni I get warm shower, working AC, super comfortable bed, everything is nice, I have benches with cushies on the balcony I can sit on when I wake up to soak in the gorgeous view of Cancun beach, etc. I think staying at a nice hotel and get day pass is the best of both worlds. Or if you are a hot girl, book Oasis and sleep in my room.

It's really to each's own. Some people don't mind crappier accomandations. They think it's just a place to sleep. And at the rate Nuno found, it may actually be worth it. That's a really good deal for Oasis.

It seems that the general consensus is oasis rooms are shit but the grand oasis rooms are pretty decent and for the price they are offering i think it's a great deal. Even if it may mean less luxury comforts. My deal was $420 for the week - so not expecting 5*. My thinking was be close to the day parties which i expect to go to everyday. Great price on hotel and not needing to pay for daypasses for the week. But not be in complete shit hole (reviews of regular oasis) and have the 'luxury' of private bars at the grand to get served drinks quicker (hopefully)

OK guys, this may sound a touch on the silly side for you regular visitors but i am getting confused about all these hotels!

I get the impression that be live is a group of hotels and oasis is a group of hotels??

I want to go to the action, i really do not care where i sleep as i won't be doing much of it!

I have looked at this deal on the post and it seems there are a few diffrent hotels for be live.

If i was to book hotel be live palm beach would i be wasting my time?

Or which hotels specificly do i want to be booking?

oasis used to be a hotel group and still is i think but now be live took them all over but failed to make payments hence legal battle

be live and oasis are all the same atm and u can hotel hop no need for day passes. so if u stay at be live palm beach u can go to be live cancun no problem as far as i know.

the omni is literally a stone throw away from the oasis and u can walk on the beach to the oasis stage. if u bring a bottle u can party on the beach and not buy a daypass.

oasis is now the day party mecca after the fat tuesday closing.

some have bad experienced like getting robbed ( people going through the balcony) and working stealing their stuff also not working water no ac and just dirty leaking ceilings.

i was in phase 2 but i knew alot of people in phase 1 ( party party party) that were just pissed off about their rooms. i was in the more subdue phase 2 where i had everything minus hot water during peak times which even happens in 5* hotels here in America.

also the elevators take FOREVER holy shit its literally 20 minutes to go upstairs because one elevator never works how does this happen?

Here is my brief take on the subject. I stayed at Oasis (Be Live) for 1 year, and Grand Oasis (Grand Be Live) for 2 years. This year, I will be staying at Omni.

If you are booking Be Live, there is a SIGNIFICANT difference between Grand and the regular. Definitely stay at the Grand. You get a fridge in your room (which they stock), the restaurants are much better, and you get actual alcohol at the bars (as well as shots). The difference in price between the 2 is worth it.

As for accommodations, I've never stayed in the pyramid, I was always in phase 1/2 Grand rooms, though I've been in the pyramid, which does have nicer rooms. I can tell you, our room last year was garbage, AC was iffy at times, the shower was absolutely terrible. The room sucked. Because the hotel was booked, they wouldn't move us. I ended up going to Henry's room at the Omni to shower for most of the week.

The Omni was gorgeous. If you haven't been to Mexico before, you will quickly realize quality in accommodations in Mexico is very different than the US. I will say, while the Omni was very busy, it was also quite family oriented, I don't think they would appreciate you stumbling around the hotel like an idiot. Then again, I was only there for a few minutes at a time, and it's vacation, so I'm sure plenty of that goes on as well.

The day parties at Oasis/Be Live are a lot of fun. Having said that, who knows the deal this year with this new info.

The price you have listed seems excellent for Grand Be Live, but I noticed that March 1-21 seemed to be omitted from that price, which is the high season and when all of us are going.

You're going to have fun either way so don't worry about it. If you are the type of person who is picky about the bed you sleep in and the condition of bathroom/shower, I wouldn't stay at Be Live. If you are very go with the flow and just want to drink and party, well then you won't have a problem at Be Live.

The price between March 12th - March 19th is $51 per night, which is a bargain.

I think as long as you don't cause a scene and start breaking shit, they don't care. You see really drunk people stumbling around in the hallway from time to time. The girl I brought to my first Cancun trip, she likes to get REALLY DRUNK and we never had any problems with Omni security. Except this one night she basically passed out at Carlos and Charlies and I had to carry her home. The security at the door asked if she was okay, that's all. Trust me, it (me carrying a completely passed out hot blonde back to my hotel) looked really bad.

And that's not forget last year 4 pretty drunk idiots came back to Omni with me one night and almost passed out on my bed leaving me with no place to sleep. LOL.
