tonight I did 40 minutes of treadmill.. and about 15 minutes of upper body lifting.. OMG.. I am exhausted... ha-ha!! jk.. off to take my girl to soccer practice..
I shoveled my whole drive. Definately got a work out in. And I am still walking. Pretty proud, lol. Tomorrow morning - butts and guts for me. going to work them hard. As for now................................exhausted and ready for sleep.
well, I am here all by myself tonight..;( got my DVD workouts today.. gonna give them a try in a bit... did anyone else get any exercise in today?
Yesterday was my "rest" day. Today, I didn't feel like going to the gym so I moved my stepper from the workout room to the familyroom...thought maybe I'd actually use it if I had to look at it all the time. So what I've been doing is 5 mins. on the stepper, then a couple sets of upper body weights, watch TV, play with the dog then back to the stepper! I've now been on it for a total of 15 mins...but that is 15 mins. more than 2010! The big weigh-in will be tomorrow, at the gym. The food diary lives on...
Hi! Im was 131 in June, now im 125.. im trying to get to 115 by end of march, thats my trip!! Def change your diet is the #1 thing! Ive been muching on whole wheat wraps with grilled chicken, spinach, a bit of cheese, and kidney beans! I get my fiber & protein! Also, on the treadmill, do intervals.. jog a min, then walk 2 mins, then sprint for 1 min, then walk ect. ect. it will help keep it more interesting! I am not a big cardio fan, its a lot better then just running for 30mins!
see dusting them off got you doing it a home!!....I decided to take a night off tonight ... i am still soar from yesterday... and my brother from out of town came to visit last night and i was up late.. just cant muster up the energy..and now .. I am off to bed.. lol
Hi Princess welcome, doing the treadmill is defiantly boring .. believe it or not .. I like to dance on the treadmill... I know its strange.. and if anyone ever saw me they would think i was crazy..haha but makes for a great work out.. just get some great music on with a great beat, slow down the treadmill and walk and dance at the same time.. its fun.. well for me it is.. lol
I do the same thing! and on the elliptical!! As long as I am moving my hips and dancing, all exercise becomes dance, no longer just for burning calories. There are moments when I think...........Oh Hell, glad no one can see me down here!!!!! Thanks for making me smile - knowing I am not the only one.
thats funny, I have a window in my garage, thats were my treadmills are and every so often I look out to see if anyone can see me .. my favorite one ( move i guess) i call the catwalk. like the models do on the run way..lol the crazy things we do to entertain ourselves..hey?... haha!
