Hey everyone, about to make our first trip, have some questions

Missed shuttle

A couple of people on our flight in november had a problem with their luggage so missed the transfer coach from the airport, they got a taxi to Temptation from the airport and were charged 800 pesos about 70 usd one way.. so I definately would book a shuttle with the link like the others recommend.

 

Great stuff everyone, looks like we'll be booking with them definitely now. Any of the clubs around or parts of the resort need dress shoes? Girls always seem to be ok in any shoes really, but some places require us guys to be in anything but sneakers or sandals. I'll make sure to book through the site link when I do setup the transfer.

Some of the tips I heard mentioned having your shuttle or cab stop at a store or walmart to grab some stuff for your room, USA Transfers are ok for that? Even if it costs a bit more it's no biggie to us, better to be setup and ready to go rather than trying to figure out stuff later on. I think I read it on the site too but thought I'd double check, my wife is looking forward to tanning topless, it's a given the beach and sexy pool are good for this, is the quiet pool also topless (albeit quiet).

yes usa will stop by wal mart just be sure and tip the driver well too

in the hotel zone at most clubs i have been too - you can pretty much wear whatever you want to wear - very casual - about the only time you will need any type of slacks is when/if you eat at one of temptations rest. they do require closed toe shoes and pants - otherwise most clubs - wear whatever you are comfortable in

topless at quiet pool is fine

So how much does USA Transfers charge for round-trip airport<-->TTR?? If our package does not use them (not sure yet) we may forgo the "default option" for them given these comments. . . .

As far as excursions go... don't book through the resort or travel agency... there's an agency across the street beside the lil flea market (Next plaza beside the big church...). It's run by a guy named Brad Muller- he'll get you the best price around on just about any excursion you want! Seriously- he saved me $220 (USD) on the excursions we went on... You can book same day or next day too with no issue what-so-ever.

 

Everybody has chimed in regarding the services offered here for transfers but if it helps you can pm a fellow countryman and repeated user of the services if you need more answers.
