Vaio, I also found it odd but what was I to do? I even had the exact time frame (a two hour window) for them to roll back the tapes and watch. I was told where our chair was (very close to the sexy pool stairs by the bar) had tons and tons of people partying in front of our chair and that the security guard said my bag was *blocked out of view*. This was our fourth time back and we have NEVER had anyone steal from us. We have also traveled the globe and never felt it necessarry to have a camara strapped to our bodies. I will never, ever leave my camara in my bag (even though it was 20 feet away) again!!
Deb, I am sure your group will come up with something spectacular!! Just remember to let the staff know about it so they can *help* LOL we had two birthdays amoungst our friends and both had a fantastic time.

I suspect that your camera was stolen from the beach side not the pool side. The wall is about waist high and it would be very easy for someone to walk by once casing the area and make another pass 5 minutes later for the loot. My "defense" if you could call it that was to keep my bag tied to the middle leg of the chair but pulled toward the front so it could not be pillfered.
jmg, The bag was about in the middle, but someone with a long arm could of grabbed it from the beach side. I had other things in the bag that I thought someone would of taken instead of the camara. On a lighter note, it was great to meet you and Kristin. My hubby loved talking race track with you! Hope you guys had a great trip!
Leigh Ann and Scott, Glad to hear you made it home safe. Ken and I started getting a bad cold on the plane home. WOW, Jesse won Mr. Temptation? I only wish I could "post" the images I have in my mind of the whole week. Darcie/Steve, you guys made such a positive impression and I certainly remember my vball partners intensity and your brilliant smile. Sue, what can I say other than a million thanks. Last night was our first xmas party and I couldnt stop talking about the wonderful people I met and befriended. I'm already planning next year!
So just an update on my foot. It wasn't broken after all. Disclocated damaged tendons and some tissue damage. Thanks all for offering me your sympathies. My bubba keg was my anesthetic. Sure did miss dancing and diving.
