Regarding whether it is worth it, we think it is and especially for the 50 more a night price. We book a regular room and then ask for an upgrade upon arrival. They said 100 a night. I said how about 50 and they said ok if I could wait one night. Learned about them taking the 50 price from this site so I would expect as long as they have availability it would work for you also. Regarding the animals, we didn't actually see any snakes or scorpions. However one snake stole my sandals and suit from the balcony. But we think that might have been someone who was jealous about not being invited to the hot tub party. Another bit of advice. Ours had no shade so if you want privacy request one with a privacy shade!

We would have loved to do temptations for new years but our 5 yr old was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes recently so we had to put the trip on hold until the gparents are more comfortable sitting. Sounds like new years will be amazing. We are likely going instead at the end of February again and if that falls through then end of April or early may. Have a great time and be sure to add a trip report and some pics so we know what we missed!
