hi, we are booked for monday. we have a jacuzzi suite. i have seen pictures of them inside and out. will ours be inside or outside?? anyone know that has stayed in one of these rooms? or partied in one?:wink3: thank you, kristy
Pictures inside that I've seen are of the hotel Spa. The Jacuzzi rooms are first floor by the quiet pool and they are outside. A lot of pictures are taken and the wall behind the jacuzzi makes it look like it's inside but it's really outside. However, i would imagine that somewhere there are super-upgraded rooms with indoor jacuzzi's.....but i can't say for sure.
probably should have added that except for a few rooms on the corners, the jacuzzis on the balconies have shades that you can pull down for privacy so the balcony almost becomes a separate room
there are actually some premier rooms that have the big jacuzzi tubs inside.. for instance the room on the corner right where they rent the jet skis with the wooden railing, has a jacuzzi tub inside, there are a few.. but for the most part, if you book through the hotel or online, your jacuzzi will be outside
Most of the ones around the quiet pool on the first floor have shades. There are a least a couple that don't. Recommend you look at the room when you get there before you sign for the key. We've had jacuzzi rooms our last 3 times there and in our opinion they are definitely worth the upgrade... K&J
so basically it sounds like for the extra money you pay it not really worth it to get the hot tub...is it safe to day that?
I payed the extra for a jacuzzi room with my package. So I'll let you know early January on my thoughts.
It really depends on how you plan to use it. We had one last year and it was fun, fun, fun! I never thought about theft or critters having an easier time entering the room. We booked a regular room for this next time and saved a few $$. Someone mentioned a snake having a harder time getting in an upper floor room and that is all it took for me to downgrade. :icon_sad:
I must admit that I haven't heard of any snakes at TR but 2 people had scorpions in their 1st. floor rooms last year. Here in S. Florida, snakes get in sometimes...so I tend to think about it. The critters at TR that really scare me are those "animals" that those people bring around trying to get you to buy a picture.
I have always had a first floor room by the sexy pool, except for maybe 2 trips, I have never had an animal other then an ant or multiple ants in the room, I always make sure if im on the first floor to use the security stick that locks your sliding door closed... if that stick is not in your room when you get there, call the desk, they will have one brought to you...if I ever saw a scorpion in my room, drunk or sober, I dont think id be able to sleep in that room again, id be on the 3rd floor before I could blink lol
