Hi....we are first timers and are just wondering what the nite life is like thru the week at the resort. Is there much going on after supper...etc?

Night life is usually pretty good at the resort. Sometimes it will dwindle down if the staff is taking a large group to one of the popular club excursions. We only go to Cocobongos and stay on the resort every other night and it is always a blast.
It definately is what you make it , if you go down in groups or meet up with people down there and form theme nights or just plain ol good hang outs at the resort, it can be just as much fun as going out... I have only left the resort like twice in 2 trips, so 2 night out of 20... one for Sergios Cruise to Carlos n Charlies and the other was to be a tour guide around town at night
We agree with everyone here. It's definitely what you make of it...and who you make it with! The resort has their entertainment performances most nights and then most seem to make their way to Paty-O... Later that night the bus takes people to the bars/clubs. It's fun to get "off campus" a night or two and when you get back, there's always going to be people still partying. I DO wish there was a hot tub... The Desire nightly schedule of Dinner...entertainment...dancing...hot tub was nice.
Patty O's (the main bar) usually starts to dwindle about 3AM to small groups but rocks out almost every night till well after midnight. Quiet pool bar usually closes around 11 or so but is nice to hang out at if your in a small intimate group. Nice Shoes usually has nightly shows (except for 2 nights) that run from 9PM till 10:30 -11PM or so, then everyone goes to Patty O's. If your first timers, be sure to bring some sexy clothes to go to shows with and to wear at Patty O's. A good rule of thumb is to find your sexiest outfit you intend to bring, then go buy one that's even sexier that you don't think you'll wear and bring it along. (By the end of the trip, you'll end up wearing it!! )
