We went on itravel.ca or .com this year and it's through sunquest I think. Either way it's a package deal. We paid 2050 taxes included for both of us, 7 nights, direct flight there and back from Ottawa. Leaving at 6:30am and the flight back is 10am I think.
I used Expedia and don't think I got any kind of deal (4572.62 for 10 nights with flights) but got the days and times I wanted. I am flying direct from Calgary on Westjet Dec. 28th to Jan. 7th.
WOW that is cheap I'm paying 4500 for one person in a jacuzzi room for ten days over New Years. When are you going for 2900 for 2 people and is it a jacuzzi room?
Man 4500 bucks for one person.. ******&*^*^ shit... I would be constipated if I have to pay that. I used skoosh last year in april and I managed to split a room but it came to 780 per person for 10 days and that was with airfare, we paid 1560 total for both.
What are other other Western Canadians paying for there NYE vacation package? I know it cost more to travel alone but I'm starting to wonder if Expedia is working me for all it's worth. My package total is 4572.62 for 10 nights dec. 28 to jan. 7th in a jacuzzi room.
Frank, they really hit you up for the jacuzzi rooms! That's why everyone waits til they get there and ask for the upgrade. Out of seven trips, I only once booked oceanview, six times for garden view. Twice they just put in a jacuzzi room, 3 times to an oceanview room. Only once, did I have a garden view. I've never asked to be upgraded though. I've always booked Orbitz, best rates booking as a single and coupons are easily found. The most I've paid is $850 including airfare for 7 nights(from Tampa), that was oceanview. So if you find better deals, you can go more often!:icon_biggrin:
I just checked the hotel website and they are taking 3900US for my package. So to have my flight times and being direct flights I'm feeling a little more comfortable and at the end of the day isn't money made to be spent. I will way out the benefit of a jacuzzi room for my next visit though. Thanks Tere:wave:
