We are booked at Temptations from Satuday April 2nd to Saturday April 9th. After looking for flights we found it better to fly out of Cancun on Sunday instead of Saturday so we booked Sunday the 10th to fly out. After extending out trip by a day, we thought it might be nice to check out Desire for a day and night. Now the question, is it worth going to Desire for one day / night or just book another night at Temptations???

We really enjoyed Desire.. but honestly, we don't think it would be worth doing an overnight.

You are losing a good part of a day packing and transferring and then packing up again the next day.

Part of the special experience you have on vacation, particularly at TTR or Desire, is the relationships and friendships you develop during your stay. An overnight isn't going to give you any time for that. Maybe you need a minimum of three nights?

It is considerably more money for the nights stay and you have the additional cost of getting there.

The friends you make at TTR will want that one more night together when it's time for you to leave... :)

    Anyway, that's our opinion.

Desire is a great resort, and is certainly worth checking out. But, we agree that for one night, the value of changing resorts may be limited.

Never been to Desire, so don't know from that perspective. What I do know is that when we have been to Temptations in the past, there were people who we had met and had been hanging out with for several days. They were scheduled to go to another resort for a day or 2 as part of their vacation. When the time came for them to leave Temptations, they really didn't want to leave. The people at Temptations are so nice and everyone was having so much fun, that they hated to go to another resort...why quit when the going is good? :lotsofmichaelfs:

I completely agree, we havent been to Desire yet (were going in May for first time), but 1 night would feel like a tease, I would def go when you can get at least 2 or 3 nights.

We haven´t been to Temptation but we have been in Desire´s, next month we are going to have our first experience in Temptations.
I think that one night could be worth if you are a nudist, We really like Desire and Hidden Beach Hotel, but this is because we are nudist more than party people, the Desire´s atmosphere is really worth and sexy.

You just need to leave Temptations early and have already arranged everything the night before.

Thanks for all the advice!! After being to temptations a couple of time, we thought we would use the chance to go Desire. It would be a lot easier to stay put. Thanks Again

But just think, when you got to Desire, you wouldn't need to unpack or re pack the next day! It does only take an hour to get there (Desire)and you are only 20-25 mins from the airport for your return flight ...Just a thought....!!
