Just found this site recently and reading the forums has been very helpful. We are looking at booking in early may and wanted to know if the Ocean View or Garden View are a preference and why. We always enjoy the ocean view at other resorts we have been to so we are leaning that way. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Depends...last night when I booked, it was $31 more a night for an oceanview. I booked garden view since I've never gotten a decent oceanview at TR. It is more like a sliver of the ocean if you can peer thru the buildings and see a little blue, then it is an oceanview room. Kinda disappointing. The true oceanview rooms are for Premier members, I think, unless you get lucky!
Are those rooms specifically Garden or Ocean View? Do you request those when you book, arrive, or just get lucky?
You usually aren't in your room long enough to enjoy the view... but the sexy pool has a great view of the ocean!:aktion033:
