RCI Members

I just found out that Temptations Resort is RCI affliated.
Has anyone used there RCI to trade in?
Any costs involved?

 

I am looking into it also, when we went down there in september, they said they were with rci and it cost somewhere around 900 a week. I am checking their math though.

I used to use our RCI every year, until last year when I found a better deal on a website. RCI isnt the greatest deal there and the perks arent enough to keep me from taking a bargain room over the RCI stuff

 

We just returned on Saturday from our first week at Temptations. We are RCI Weeks members and booked through RCI. I think the key to getting a good deal with RCI is finding reasonable air fare on your own. I have looked at many of the other packages that included airfare, what I found was they were all around $1900 for a week. The all inclusive fee after taxes this time of year through RCI was $1003 + the $179 exchange fee. In addition as an RCI member we got a $179 credit for the spa or logo shop. Also we got 2 tickets to Xcaret park, which we didn't want to go to so they gave us a $139 credit for any other excursion we wanted. On top of that you stay in the 3000 wing of the resort which is reserved for Premier and RCI members. This section overlooks the Sexy Pool and Ocean. We were able to find our own airfare for $600 after all fees, so in total we paid under $1800 + got $320 credit at the resort.
I hope this helps, we can't wait to go back next year.

so they were close with the 900 bucks. I am looking into that today. especially if we get credits. consider it done

 

I forgot about the A/I fees. That makes alot more sense.

 

Is this per person?

 

Not per person, this was the total we paid for myself and my wife.
