We were there for 2 weeks and didn't leave the resort in the evenings, we had a great time! Seemed to be the younger crowd that went clubbing every night. I don't think we missed out though ;-)
I've been to TTR probably 20 times, usually for 12 days at a time (sometimes for 18 days). Out of those 12 days, I go to the clubs with the staff 9 days. It probably depends on the time of the year, but all of the times that I stayed in at Paty O's, it's pretty much deserted after people leave to the clubs. your choice.
Best bet is ti get a feel for the group you are with and go with the flow. Both going out and staying in can be great!
We have been there in May for 7 years in a row and only went to the clubs 1 time. We tend to turn in early about 11 to 12. It is our vacation so we enjoy our rest. Not much on clubs as they are really loud. There have always been loads of people that do not go clubbing. Hope this helps... Don
We ust returned from our 6th trip. I noticed less people leaving for the clubs and more hanging at Paty o's. The entertainment has gotten better at the resort. It used to end before the club people left but now goes till 1 or so. I think a lot of imput requesting it has been put in on those exit surveys they give out. They really do read them and impliment requested changes. We are already booked to return in May. The people we meet are the best!
Years of going to Cancun, we have been to the clubs a couple of times. The clubs are a good time, but I'll tell ya, the bar outside and Nice shoes can give you some nights you will never forget. There is only so much you can get away with at Coco Bongo. At the resort the sky is the limit. I've got the pictures to prove it.
an the cost of the clubs is getting a little out of hand. expect about $100 plus tips for the club nights. last trip we hit 3 clubs in a 5 day trip.
I was at BBG in 2004 and now heading back Dec 20-27th. All I remember is when I did leave the resort to go to Chichen Itza, I was scared I was going to miss something and didn’t want to go. Had a ton of fun the last time and I hope this time is equally as fun.
We have been to Cancun Temptations three time and each time we've told ourselves we're going to Congo Bongos and then we find ourselve's having so much fun at the resort we opt to stay and party. Ok, this year we MIGHT go to Congo Bongo. I've heard it's fun...we're going to DO IT (Congo Bong's that is) one of these times.
