Mid 80's is great! I guess I'm a southerner...live in Florida, but Canadian by birth. I hate cold weather..I'm the first person to be cold! How are the nights?

Can be pretty humid, really nice with a breeze buy I'm sure it'd be no worse than Florida weather. At least the mosquito's aren't the size of Volvo's in Cancun.
I just found the temps for Cancun weather in December- average high 82 low 69! highest ever 88 lowest 52 # of days with rain - 5 Frank, you have my sympathy! I've been to Calgary and Edmonton and have never been that cold in my life!
I need hot tubs, saunas and tropical vacations to make it through them. So low's in upper 60's and high's in the 80's is heaven for me.

Plan on the pool being a little cold until around noon (or after a bunch of trips to the bar). We have been to TRC a few times in Dec/Jan and been pretty lucky with the weather. It was cool a couple of days on our last Dec/Jan trip and I was bitching to myself about it being cloudy and breezy while I was sitting by the pool in shorts and a tee. I looked at the STL weather on my phone and saw that it was +3 F, and my whining went away instantly.
