We've book throught an agency so we were not able to get anything than the regular deluxe room. Is anyone has ever upgraded their room to a one with a jacuzzi, once there? If so, what should I be expect o pay for such an upgrade? :mermaid:
well, for one, yes you can upgrade once your there, depending on availability...however the jacuzzi room is not all that it is cracked up to be and its hard to explain since you have never been, but the odds of you even using your upgraded room enough to make it worth the extra money is slim, go see where your room is, then after a day or so, then decide.
we paid the upgrade in September.. and never once used the jacuzzi.. lol however.. it was worth it to us to not have to stager up to the third floor.. .haha!!we paid $50.00 a day extra.. but that was a deal..
The sexy pool is really alot like a 100 person hot tub. I thought our room was fantastic and it was way at the end on the third floor...there are plus's and minus's for all the rooms kinda
we get the jacuzzi room almost everytime we go and have yet to use it. (its part of out timeshare) i dont think we would ever pay for it.
I haven't ever tried to upgrade yet... It would be great to have a floor level though walking up those stairs and down them can be a test of a drunks ability for sure!
We tried to upgrade in February but they were all full. We had them put us on the wait list for the next night even though they were saying it would be 100 a night. We learned from this board to negotiate then down to around 50. Some people got 44, some 56, some 50 based on posts I read. The next day they called us saying one was available. So I went to the front desk and said at the 50 price ok? And they said ok. We used it 3 nights out of 6. Keep in mind it is rather small. Fits 4 snug. Pretty uncomfortable if you try more. We liked using it after the sexy pool slowed down and before dinner/nightly entertainment. We are not nap people so it filled a nice void for us. If you tip the quiet bar bartender then he will bring drinks to you balcony. Another advantage for us was we are light sleepers. All the jacuzzi rooms are around the quiet pool away from the night time noise. It is only a two minute walk though so it is not inconvenient.
Actually, it was cheaper than that. They charged us $210.00 for the week for the upgrade. The room itself is no different from standard rooms. The difference is the bigger balcony with the jacuzzi tub and it's ground floor.
