I see a lot of people seem to recommend these. Is this due to you getting small plastic cups that don't hold alot? First time going soon and want to make sure if to get these before we go or can we buy them in the resort? Thanks
yes the "issued" drinking glass are small and get hot very quick. we take the moderate size 16 to 20 oz, a lot of guys take the super big "Bubba Mugs". a couple years ago the resort came out with a size limit but i think it is not enforced any more.
Thanks for the quick response. I'll look at getting a couple for me and the wife. Thankyou. Cannot wait to go!!
just tell the wife she can only take bikinis that can fit into the empty mugs and she must take at least one bikini per day. oops that would mean i would have to take very small micro mugs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we just go back from 6th trip and I like the 20oz Buba keg, they are dlb the size of the glasses that they use around the pool. Got mine from Amazon for $10 us.
THE RESORT ALSO SELLS SOME THAT ARE 20 oz. THEY ARE INEXPENSIVE AND ALSO A SOUVENIER. INSULATED ALSO. THAT IS AN OPTION
Thanks definitely going to get them just weren't sure if get them before we travel or at resort. If resort sell them then probably will do that :daveandmo: :xyxthumbs:
We just our "Kum & Go" .24 once mugs this weekend. We leave in 3 days. We're going to be the "Kum & Go" couple :daveandmo:
I always laugh when I see that store. You arent allowed to sell alcohol in many midwest states on Sunday, but you can have a store called Kum and Go.. Also AW, for your wifes sake, don't just do what the cup says!! :icon_eek:
Our travel agent gave us some mugs for our trip last year, they had our hometown printed on them, no big deal, but some people also from Iowa approached us last year because they saw the address listed, made for a nice ice breaker. When left to go home, we left the mugs with them under the condition that they be given to someone else from Iowa when they left. For all I know they are still floating around down there. It was a great way to meet some really nice people. BTW they were 20 oz insulated, worked great!
