Anyone rented a Bike (Harley) in Cancun before? Tours done on them? We are there for 2 weeks and was thinking that might be a fun day outing since I am a bike guy.

we were going to, but they don't have the same deals that they do here. you almost have to sign your life away just to rent one, and it was something like $275/day. not only that, the rules of the road are a little different there, and if i remember right, they have a helmet law.

then again, that was 2 years ago...

One thing you have to remember is the condition of the roads and the way people drive there. We rented one time from eaglerider and to be truthful I was never so scared in my life and Ive rode in all kinds of conditions all over the country

I was thinking about renting one last year until I saw the way people drive there. I also saw a man riding a bike with a woman holding a child on the back. I'll just ride the bus.

Also did eagleriders a few years back to tulum and playa not much to see on the roads and other travels are preety much off-limits for "gringos" you might want to try the 4-wheeler tour..riding with the local traffic is quite interesting.

    Hey,

You are better off to rent golf carts on Isla Majeres. Very fun to cruise the island roads while having a beer (apparently fully acceptable to do). There very few places that you can do that in the US or Canada. Just an option.
