Trip report Aug 30th to Sept 13th Short start - more to follow Arrived back in grey old england on Tues (been at work every day since hence the tardiness of this entry - sorry) Had the most amazing 2 weeks at TTR - met some beautiful people yet again - saw old friends, made new ones. I will post a 'fuller' trip report over the weekend when work is not in the way!! Continued........ OK - arrived at TTR at 7pm on 30th (2 hr flight delay from UK) Smiled as soon as I saw the place & just new I wold have a brilliant hol! Allocated room 4406- which was away from the rowdy areas round paty o and was a lovely big room, huge comfy bed lovely view of the lagoon but..........on the road end of the hotel. Now I'm a light sleeper and could hear a mouse farting 3 blocks away so the constant Cancun traffic drove me to distraction so after a week - we moved to room 5434 which was smaller - 2 double beds but just as lovely! Easy room move - front desk staff were lovely 31st (my birthday) - went to wallmart in the am to buy fizzy wine (why not??) arrived back at hotel - started chilling and drinking in pool wit old friends and made new ones matt & Jimmy, Jason and Richard (i think?). Nite time - band played - not my cuppa tea but took bets on if they'd do 'play that funky music....' after many many many (and a few more) shots - low & behold..play that funky music. so we all screamed like idiorts and danced our socks off!! 1st - another day chilliin (& working off the hangover in the gym) then senor frogs (for belated birthday celebrations). The last time we went wit the hotel - there was a coach load of people & the place was packed - this time - only our merry 8 and a couple more who got roped in - senor frogs may have been half empty but BOY did we have fun!! Jimmy mentioned that he fancied getting his nipple pierced...I took his hand & walked him to the booth and in a flash - all pierced. Next time I looked Matt was in the chair....ping also peirced!! (I had nothing to do wit that one!). Got the bus back shoutiing shot shot shot...etc etc - brilliant night!! More days of chillin & drinking by the pool - intermittently going to the gym. Oh & played Beer pong on the Thursday and we won!! WOO HOOO!! Fri 3rd - went to coco bongos that night independantly without the hotel. The shows were great - however we wanted to boogie and you couldnt really do that in there. I thouht it would be bigger than it was too, it is a must see place though - but I think once is enough! Another night of drunkeness was had - none the less!! 4th sept - our wedding anniversary - our friends from Indy - spent the day recovering from the night before (missy was a lil worse for wear!!). that night we ate in the Italian rest - absolutley delicious. We were planning an early night but we found a secret room in the cigar lounge (why's that place not used?) so decided to play beer pong (as you do!!) The security guard watched on perplexed and laughing!! Went to bed messy again!! LOL The following week was a little quieter on a night (or as quiet as it could be as Davey & Lisa & their crew arrived on the 7th) - anyone who knows these guys - knows what I mean!. Had an absolute scream - love em so much - my belly hurt I laughed so hard!! Tues 7th - Amy (the British TTR crew member - lovely lovely girl) talked me into doing ladies arm wrestling!! My GOD I was so nervous. I have quite muscly arms (result of losing 103 pounds and working out a bit trying to get rid of bat wings) but was worried that I'd get beat. I didn't ...I won PHEW. One round I was up against Miss Temptation September (absolutely gorgeous girl..stunning), Chinos sed it was like big pussy against lil pussy (noy really a compliment to me - but made me laugh anyway!) I was the 1st winner from the UK - I'm hoping some of the UK crew have defended my title! Sat 11th - Did beer drinking contest - whish is when I lost my voice totally from screaming my head off and singing!! Came 2nd - but the guy from our team won YIPEEEE. The poor guy who chanllenged him dint look too happy bout having to do naked chin ups..well if youre gonna challenge - gotta be prepared to take the forfiet - he was a football player so the chin ups were no sweat!!!! That night we attended Davey & Lisa's beach blessing (this trip was their honeymoon awwww). Was lovely - felt very priviledged to have been invited. VERY hot tho - I didnt look too attractive wth sweat stains on my red dress so promptly changed!! Had a few drinks and had early night to prepare for last night knees up! Left on the 13th - Voiceless, tired & suntanned but very very sad. Had the best 2 weeks!! The only low point really was that there seemed to have been some kinda stomach bug or something that caused Ross & quite a few others to have a really nasty time running to the loo every 2 mins. We've never experienced that at TTR before. Ross has an iron constitution but he really suffered poor love High point - LOVED the DJ in Paty O - loved the fire breathing and dancers. Makes more sense to have that outside some nights as Paty O's is a central point. I love what theyre doing with the place - Cant wait to get back next year! Max xxxxx
Sounds like a blast! We've done 2 weeks before found that 10 days is perfect. Great Trip report can't wait to see pictures.

Max & Ross made our holiday as well Great to see you and Ross again. You made your holiday as well. Davy always makes people laugh, he still makes me laugh eveyday, thats ONE reasons I agreed to marry him. Glad you enjoyed drinking the purple S**t with him. LOL Until next year my friend xx Me & Him
