We are leaving 9/29 for cancun. Is anyone else watching the developing tropical weather....OMG trip is too close to have all this going on in the tropics. Grrrrrrrr........
I've been watching it and it's making me crazy !!! We are arriving on the 30th, it's the exact same week that I was there last year and the weather was beautiful...fingers crossed for a beautiful week !!!
I would not worry too much about the weather. Last year I was there between Sept. 27th. thru Oct. 10th. The weather was absolutely flawless !!

not to worry I'm not gonna worry too much cause I really really need this vacation. But we are from Texas so we are very in touch we these storms and have to watch carefully not just for our vacation but our home also......I believe!!!! it will go away. We were there around this same time last year also. Awesome weather just awesome
It's what happens at this time of year, so far though we havent been affected by any extreme weather this year. Apart from a few rainshowers the weather has been great for months. I actually find the rain showers a welcome relief from the heat. Don't worry about it.
What weather? We just booked to come down on Thursday and I looked at the weather map before I got out the credit card.. did I miss something?

Ok guys; We were there 5 years ago during Hurricane Wilma at BBG (now Temptations). We were told that on average there is a brush with a hurricane every 2-3 years and an actual hit about every 11. The chances are very slim but should there be an incident the hotel is very prepared. We were evacuated to a Catholic school 11 miles inland (San Jose) where we rode out the worst hurricane in history. Many of the staff left their families to look after us (I felt kinda bad about that). But after talking to many of the other stranded tourists BBG took better care of their people than any resort I have heard of. Don't worry the weather will be beautiful and if not you'll get an opportunity to make more new friends. We'll tell you more at the swim up bar.
