not a big party place, but certainly cool... while spring break theres party going on 24/7... if you get a good deal at riu you might just go to oasis on daypasses and party with the rest of us or something
Riu Cancun is AWESOME! We are going there in March for our 7 time to Cancun and 4 time there. It is right near the clubs, only 5 minutes walking/stumbling distance. During spring break you always find people to party with you. I would say go to RIU Cancun, you will love it!
True enough that Riu Cancun is in an awesome location and a really nice hotel but I still found that there were a lot of families and not that many spring breakers (the hotel website even states that it strongly discourages spring breakers). Others may have had a different experience though since I haven't been there since 2008 so you might love it. I'm still too young to book there during spring break anyway lol
