066 is not the best way; rather call the department you want. Otherwise you will get a state officer, perhaps embedded with the agency you want, perhaps not. For first aid, call your Red Cross yourself.

If only we could have confidence that these are indeed the people responsible...

I have strong doubts whenever the police here claim someone confessed to something...

but I will say one thing...

Thank you AP for mentioning that.... if only FoxNews and the like would leave that part in when reporting....

I was just looking in Por Esto and they have a photo of the guys that started the fire. They are calling them “Los Sureños” but, the kid on the end has a huge ms-13 tattoo on his stomach. Ms-13 has been described by many as the worlds most violent and dangerous gangs. I hope the cops here figure out what those tattoos mean pretty soon.

These are the 6 who threw the molotov cocktails and got paid $2,000 pesos to do it. These are not the ones who ordered it done.

If that's true, it's pretty sad what some people will do for such small amounts of money (even by Mexican standards).. I can only assume/hope that they didn't think they would be killing anyone with the assault.... if they went in intent on killing then that's even more sad... :(

$2,000??? That's a very small amount for that kind of job. I mean... not that I would know or anything, but seriously... $2,000? Even if it's $2,000 EACH, just not worth it.

I think I remember hearing that the feeble minded idiots who threw the grenades into the gathering in Morelia(8 dead and over 100 injured..?)15th Sept 2008, got paid "1000 pesos" each...

    And THAT was to kill...

Mara Salvatrucha, Narcos or "regular idiots" - sickening regardless :(

Probably their role models, rather than any kind of affiliation. Seems to me the people that did this are the typical petty criminal, wanna be gangsters you find in the poor parts of any large city.

From a news story I read they were originally asked by the men in the SUV to rob an Oxxo (which would probably be their usual kind of crime), it was only when they were taken to 'the job' that it turned out to be an arson attack on the bar. Pride and probably fear stopped them from backing down. They were pretty incompetent, the guy with the burns apparently got them from falling over and dropping a bottle of vodka he had stolen, along with his wallet containing his id, and then went to the prison for medical treatment.

They all deserve what they have coming, but the ones that really need to be caught are those who ordered it.
