Hey RobnStew! I totally agree...but for right now, I am preying that we just get there & home safely now that they have re-instated our direct flight for both trips...PHEW! We are actually flying out of Chicago/ORD leaving at 8:25am and due to arrive in Cancun at 11:55am. I am crossing my fingers, toes and whatever else I can cross that all goes well when we leave on Tuesday!
hey glad to hear you guys are back on track!!! i know it can really get to be a pain in the butt. the airline industry is in my opinion going down hill. but 4 days left and all work, and related life trobles are on hold for. due to vac. needs!!! well see you at the bar with shots in hand!!!
Best to check your airline if you are still flying Mexicana. I read that they are not flying after today! Hope it all works out for you!
Thanks for checking tere! We have had the worst 24 hours ever! We were VERY FORTUNATE to be SAVED by American Airlines at the last minute! They took us under their wing (no pun intended) and re-booked us all!!!! We are all there together on the way but we are split up on the way home, but no matter what...WE WILL BE THERE!!!!
Refund from Mexicana I found out that the Mexicana web site has a link to request a refund if your flight was cancelled or travelling later. I requested a refund...we'll see if it happens. I flew AeroMexico, great airline, no problems. Jim
After I made that post, I looked at AA's schedule and noticed that they've moved the formerly 7:00 AM Cancun flight to 8:25 AM - still, nonstopper, right to Cancun. Hop off the plane, clear customs and you're boobies to the sunshine. Whoo hoo!
