Trying using www.bookingbuddy.com. It will allow you to search several travel Web sites at once and you can compare who can get you there cheaper! We are there the 1st week of September, and that would TOTALLY be last minute but so spontaneous! Cheers to that!
We have booked in the afternoon and left the next morning. There can be some great last minute deals on the charters that fly out of STL, and I have no idea if they are in your area. We are Premier members and I have always been able to get Premier rooms with almost no notice. Flying on the major airlines with last minute notice will cost you your @ss to get there. USA3000 out of STL could be a good choice depending on where in OK you live. I do know that Premier has rooms available every day for the next two weeks.
We're looking to do the same thing NEXT weekend! Just a 3 or 4 night bender, to take the edge off! We have booked in adavnce and also booked and left the next day. Right now you can get rooms at gtahotels.com for $124.00 USD per night (for 2 people). Airfare is what is killing me at the moment!! I've tried to seach all of the package deals (orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity,etc.), with not much luck...on well...we'll see. If anyone comes up with a good deal, let us know!
