I saw this on the FAQ's Page of the resort Website:

FAQ: DO I NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR SPECIALTY A LA CARTE RESTAURANTS? No, reservations are not required or taken.
    Temptation Resorts

Everyone keeps saying that you need reservations but the hotel's Web site clearly states that you do not??? *scratching my head* So which on e is it?

    Thanks! (15 more days!!!)

You absolutely need reservations for the Italian and Asian restaurants. There is a dress code for gents as well (no sandals or shorts). The others you do not. You can make reservations for 3 days at at time beginning at 10 AM (if I remember correctly) in the Embarcadero restaurant. Hope I got that right.

Unless you are a premier member you have to go to the carribean place i believe to make the reservations for the italian or the asian and only between 10a and 12p... if you are premier you can have Norma do it for you.

On the right side of the page, if you click on "Bars and Restaurants", you'll see the individual restaurants, click on each one for a description and info on reservations and dress code.
And yes, it does contradict the statement "No reservations needed"! Some of what I read on that link is not current or totally accurate.

We went to all restaurants without a reservation... If you want a specific time, then yes make one in the morning, but what I did was bring a fresh $20, and for some reason, got a table every time.... :)

As much as I am glad to hear this information, I do have to say it kinda sucks to think I would have to "tip" someone $20 to get a table at a restaurant that I have already paid for in advance! I'd rather tip $20 to the waiter who has to run around and get all of our food and drinks and bust his ass, ya know!? :banghead:

Don't worry. You don't have to. All you have to do is go reserve the tables in the morning. You can reserve up to 4 days in a row. We went the first day and got reservations at the two we wanted and were done for the week.

Also, you also paid to eat at all the restaurants and there are no reservations needed at the Buffet, Seafood, or Tex Mex.... so on days that you just want to eat without the hassle, head over to these choices.
