April 2011 roll call...hahaha!!!!!

What we noticed was the week before easter and after easter is a prime travel time becuase of school vacations , so airfares are higher as well as hotel rates. It pretty well shoots the hell out of Aprill in terms of costs.

 

I plan on using my timeshare next april, however if the prices are sky high , then I will try skoosh again, this past april I saved 1000 dollars just by putting my buddy and I in the same room and using skoosh rather then premier membership.....been checking skoosh and Temptations isnt registering for next april yet...but im sure they will in the coming months... on a side note, I either use jetblue out of JFK or Newark and they usually are pretty cheap, last year continental out of newark was 303 round trip direct flight in april..

the premier prices are out
Premier by Original Resorts
the difference between april and may is about $20 pp pd so for a couple $280 for the week. Thats quite a difference to push the trip 2 weeks forward. The one good thing I have found is yhis year our premier AI rates are cheaper then anything I have come up with so far online..... finally!!!
I also saw a nonstop to cancun out of JFK for first week of may for $285 RT

hey tina and bryan....we are hoping to be back too .....missing the superman undies LOL

 

Prices thru Sam's Club have dropped approx. $137.00 in the last 2 weeks for a 10 day trip in April. Hotel not getting enough bookings maybe?? Let's hope so and maybe we'll just see more drops in the coming months!!!

 

Looks like it may be worth the wait this year to make the reservations. Let's hope that prices continue to come down....
