Hi guys and girls. This is my first post so i'll start by saying Hello and hope you are all doing well. I live in England near London and i am 19 years old. Since i turned 17 i have been on a fair few clubbing holidays but Cancun has always been in my sights. Because its so far from here though getting a group of people together who can afford it can be hard. However there is now 5 of us from Work all hitting Cancun 2011. We was wanting to go for SB but due to one of our mates football season we have to go post season. We are travelling out to Cancun on the 31st May for 2 weeks. In the magazines it mentions summer break alot. When and what exactly is this?? We are staying at the Barcelo costa Cancun. We are hoping its going too be busy with a nice mixed crowd. Our ages at time of travel will be 20, 21, 22, 27 and 31. I'd love too think at the time we are travelling it would be half as busy as SB. We are going solely too party with the americans and have a good time in general. Im going to be an avid member of this forum now i have found it and no doubt i will have a lot more questions troo ask soon Thanks in advance Woody

ive been to kavoz, Koz, Ibiza, and Zante with the girls before and had amazing holidays, but we went to Cancun in march/april this year and it was unreal!! the best holiday ive ever had, i actually never want to go anywhere else!! im trying to convince them all to go again next year but it costs quite a bit to get over from the UK!!

Hi guys, I've been to cancun twice before and Rivera Maya once with my girlfriend, and iv got to say its awesome the best place to party and have fun anywhere. First time i went was back in mid April 2000 when La Boom was still going the second time was in early May 2004 and the last time i went was back end of May 2008. Its always busy there no matter what time of year you go. Me and a few of my friends are going back next year 23th March for the Spring Break really looking forward to it, none of them have been before so its gonna be great. Craig
Ive just got back i was there for 2 weeks in June (with the Mrs) and you won't be dissapointed. Every club we went to was absolutely rammed. Its COMPLETELY different to the likes of Ibiza Magaluff Zante. But then thats probably what your going for? Obviously, Ibiza is in a league of its own for nightlife, but i actually prefer Cancun because of just everything about it. Its like a smaller, more RnB/rap'er Ibiza, but in a paradise setting. You can't even compare Cancun with any of the places you mentioned its so much better. Just don't expect to be seeing Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Swedish House Mafia, Faithless... Think more on the lines of hearing music from Ludacris, Pitbull, Black eyed Peas... But then thats why its so good, its so much differnt from anywhere in Europe, and your partying with people from quite litrelly all over the world. Whereas if you go to Zante etc your with a load of British/Irish, same old same old. Hope that helps a little
I stayed in the Barcelo Costa in October and it was great for the price you pay - the staff are all great providing you tip them and you're obviously polite and the food is good, just a little repetetive sometimes if you don't book into one of the restaurants. In regards to clubbing, you;ve picked the right place. We went to Bongos three times, City was good too - i'd definatley suggest booking on the bar crawl with the hotel cus they'll get you in places quicker and treat you like VIPs - Carlos and Charlies just outside Bongos is great and Senor Frogs is a must. Trust me it's great and they all love us Brits - I'm going back Spring Break, if you have any other questions, just PM me. x
Im gonna have to differ here... to begin with, Coco Bongo is always crowded except for those months where the low season hits Cancun (September-December), the bar crawling with the hotel or any other company such as student city can only be done (with positive results) in that same low season, in Spring Break its way different, there is waaaaay too many people, we learnt the hard way that getting a party hopper was not a good idea in 2009, its better to roll around with the people you've met there without the group being over 30 persons (such as the bar crawlers, student city and party hoppers) it all depends on how you like things, if you wanna try your luck and see if you get in the club or not, join them crawlers lol the only way to get VIP treatment while in Spring Break is a) get an original VIP pass or b) hang around us guys hahahahahahahaha :lotsofmichaelfs: party on! wooooooooooooooo
