In regards to the entertainment staff, I agree about Chinos, he is the best. Although, the trip I was there, I thought Cesar was pretty good. We were scheduled to go to Temptation Cancun next week & found out Chinos was not going to be there. I canceled the reservation at Temptation, we are going to Desire instead. For us, no Chinos, no reason to go to Temptation Cancun when Desire is right down the road.
When Chinos was at Cabos the place had a livelier atmosphere for sure and it sounds as though it needs a bit of a boost where fun is concerned but it is a fantastic resort, the photos made me 'homesick' for it.
Great meeting you also, I think the modified may be our favorite now, thanks for teaching it to us. Ron and Melissa
I don't think we can swing your dates, we have to wait till the beginning of May...remember plan on making your own party at this reosrt they are Not going to do it for you, it's not like Temptation Cancun.
Day 4 – Today we headed out at 9am and caught the bus into Cabo San Lucas. The bus stop is in the front of the Mega Store. Cross the street, go thru the Mega Plaza and cross the next street to the bus stop, 25 pesos per person each way. After about a 20 minute ride into town the bus dropped us off in the middle of the city, across the street from the mall. We walked around the town in and out of shops and headed to the marina. There we found a little area where many “booths” we set up, and the people we selling their goods, got some souvenirs for the kids and headed down to find a water taxi. For $10 per person, we traveled in the water taxi from the marina, to The Office for one hour, to Lover’s Beach for one hour and then back to the marina…the drivers was very punctual. You can pick any time frame you want, 1 hour was perfect for lunch, next time we will spend more time a Lover’s Beach, maybe bring a cooler with beer. We had a great meal at The Office, a restaurant on the beach, we sat with our feet in the sand, beer in hand and chips and salsa on the table…Perfect! This is at Medano Beach and as I was told was the only beach in Los Cabos that is swimmable... There was a cruise ship in port at that time so it was a busy area. Vendors were all over the beach selling their goods. The taxi picked us up and we headed over to Lover’s Beach…absolutely beautiful. Now there is no dock at Medano Beach or Lover’s Beach so the boats get close to the shore but you have to jump into the water and then jump back up into the boat…Bring stuff that can get wet! Headed back to the marina, walked to the bus stop back near the mall and headed back to the resort about 2pm. Return to TTR to start up a volleyball game, got my Squirt Bottle with Alejandro’s special mixer, this time with Tabasco sauce (it was actually pretty good), walked around the pool giving people shots and getting people to play the game. This time to start the game (Boys Vs Girls) someone had the great idea that all the girls should be topless and the boy’s au natural…Too Fun! Was a great game, boys ended up with the girls tops on themselves and then when the sides were switched and the boys were on the zero entry end of the pool…exposed…they decided to use the girls tops as banana hammocks! Had one of our favorite meals that night…Ron decided to make 2 plates full of nachos and we ate in the pool with friends, then headed up to the Jacuzzi pool for more shots, butt bongs and chocolate. We went to the room to get dressed for the Jacuzzi Pool Party…and a little sick of being in the water all the time. There was show with a guy spinning and throwing fire. Great DJ up at the Jacuzzi and everyone was in the pool so we decided to join them, took off the shoes, clothes and we ended up wet again in our underwear. Dancing in the pool with great tunes…fun night music ended at 12am, and then the resort switched to the elevator music…ugh buzz kill. View from the water taxi, the blue umbrellas is The Office... View from our table at The Office... Ron getting Surprised by a wave... When you land on Lover's Beach on the Sea of Cortez you can walk through the rock about 100 yards to Divorce Beach on the Pacific Ocean, we loved this side, bigger beach, less people...we think they should change the name. The Arch... Gigglin Marlin... El Squid Roe View of the Sea of Cortez from the Jacuzzi pool... Great Day...
