I was thinking I could bring a super soaker so that I can spray any would be thieves from the pool. It works on cats...
The last time I saw a thread about reserving pool chairs, someone suggested bringing a T-shirt to pull over the back of the chair. (I believe they said XXXL would fit) Get one printed with something unique and the problem is solved!
We always bring xxxl towels with either a Welsh Dragon or the word Wales/Cymru on them. As we're usually the only Welsh people there it always works lol xx
The frustrating part is the people that reserve chairs and then NEVER use them. We've seen 5-6 chairs all in a row sit the whole day without anyone ever using them while friends had to share our chairs.
We made t-shirts.....used a XL which worked out great. I think if you get them to big, they may blow off the chair if the winds spark up. Our XL's blew off twice. Just used some puffy paint for t-shirts to decorate and it didn't bleed or anything. Nobody moved our stuff at all, in fact, the one day that a shirt blew off....somebody put it back on the the chair and knew where to put it because it matched the other shirt
I've seen the chairs "wearing" the XXL tshirts, so they don't blow away..you know how when you are sitting in the chair, your towel blows around or ends up around your butt? It seemed like a good idea!
LMFAOOOOOOO at your post!! LOLOLOL what a idiot!!! love what they did to him!! There always has to be that *One* asshole.......so far we have had good luck with the chairs. The only thing I dont like is when people reserve them and then dont even use them.
That same guy was on our flight home and when we got back to the states he got pulled aside by security and taken away. I hope they performed a cavity search. I bet it was the highlight of his trip.
I wish the whole practice of reserving chairs had never taken hold. It's ridiculous. If there's a chair when you finally decide to wander down to the pool, then take it. If not, get up earlier and finish your sleeping poolside, or get an early start on the festivities. I won't play the silly game.
