HI, I would exchange some of your money say (60.00) us into peso's and keep the rest. You can exchange at the resort desk. Or do the exchange wherever you get the best rate. When we went, (first time as well) it was 13.1 peso's to the dollar. Its pretty safe where the resort is, but i wouldnt walk around in any country with money where folks can see, its bad and you never know who's watching. Any day you come you can make a reservation just go the center dining facility around 10am i believe and make the reservations. You have to do it to get the reservation you want, whatever day that maybe. Time share things is disquised as a welcome tour, its know tour its the time share. U dont need them to acclamate you to the resort anyways its not that big. Everything will be fine. Have a great time.
Thanks for the correction.. didn't double check my entry. But do beware about using your droid, iphone etc... def check about your provider international charges....
According to the Temptation website....Wouldn't you assume that the $15 US for an Internet password would be good for the whole week? "We offer Wi-Fi internet access in the public areas of the resort. If you have your own Lap-top you can get the access code for $15 USD and you can use it as long as you stay with us. If you need a Lap-top you can ask for it at Front Desk for $10 USD per 30 minutes."
Where did you find that statement on their website? I wasn't able to find any internet details on there. Has anyone verified that it is now only a $15 charge for the stay rather than a daily charge? Thanks
The hotel told me it was $15 a day, not for your whole stay....and I used my blackberry a few times trying to change my flight online (when spirit went on strike) and a few drunken posts on facebook late at night...probably not more than 30 mins total internet time and my cell bill was about $80 more for this month ugh!
Verizon told me not to use the phone internet or make calls because it would be very expensive. They said texting was cheap. I did that and didn't notice a difference. We were in the furthest building and the internet signal didn't get to the room. After the first day, I did the $10 for 1/2 hour in the lobby when I had to get on.
