I think it is worth it. You can only have $300 in "goods" to bring back home. Honestly not sure if that is per person or not. You can bring back antibiotics for personal use....but just declare them on your customs form. We did...not one word even said to us. As far as worth the time, there is a pharmacy in the airport, so when you are waiting for your return flight home, it would take about 2 minutes to pick them up. We have insurance too....but as Dr. Mom, it is such a pain when we or the kids get sick and I know they need an antibiotic. $40 for 120 amoxicillan was well worth it. The ear drops for the swimmers ear were also very convenient to pick up...$10. They have everything you can possibly need at the pharmacy. I would never abuse the antibiotic thing, but they are handy to have and I do feel safe in using them.

Mo, I have been looking up prices for our return trip. We would love to come with your may group.....and meet all of you guys. I was sooooo hopping that we could muster up the awesome participation that you guys had for all the theme nights on our trip. Didn't happen, but still an amazing trip. Any dates for May for you guys?

beware of the drugs...........check the manufacturer..........not always......not usually the same meds as in the US. In mexico they have very few pharmaceutical rules............and in US for example you can get amoxycilin for 2 bucks with health ins. for 10 days at walleyworld.......just sayin..........................beware

The Church is a little ways East of Temptations, not just across the street but on the lagoon side. We first noticed it 6 or 7 years ago when we stayed at BBG. The Mexicans do Church or Mass right, The music and singing is fantastic, The Mass in English is not as good but being Catholic, and old, (religion is for women children and old men) I try to stay on Gods good side and still enjoy life at TTR on occasion. And we go to Cancun in March, or during Lent. Enough of the religion lesson. Glad you had fun and enjoyed the review.

The cost of the drugs is probably quite a bit higher than your copay, but still pretty handy to have some common drugs at home without having to call the doctor, take off work, plus paying the copay.

Kind of like having someone that works at a Dr's office getting you free samples only they are not free.

Great trip report guys, glad you had fun... I think the food and drinks thing is a combo deal, you eat so much that it takes a lot to get buzzed and so on, I learned the hard way back in april when I wasnt eating , i was bombed by 4 pm and was walking around with dinner rolls in my pocket to just soak up alcohol haha... Glad you had a good trip, thanks for sharing your memories
