Sorry, this will have to be short. Flew down with friend (2 girls, both of us from NY) met our friend Mark there from California. The weather was BEAUTIFUL! Not a drop of rain even though weather.com said chances of rain every day. Had a room on the 3rd floor and moved on the second day to 1st floor. Second room was not as nice as the first. Hung out at the sexy pool - that is where all the action is. Got naked one day during pool game - lots of fun! Met a lot of GREAT people from all over! Went on pirate cruise and they put us with 2 other couples in a private part of boat. Made great friends that night and had an incredible time!!! Friends did jetski and zip line and said both were great. I fell on one of the random steps that are all over the resort. It happened on my first day there and most people who were there that week knew me as the girl hobbling around or on the crutches. I made the best of it, but unfortunately the hotel wasnt that accomodating. Went to doc when I arrived home and foot is broken. Ooops! Didnt know it was broken when I was walking around on it all week! lol Friend bought a time share while he was down there, so I will probably be back! -Lisa
I remember you! Sorry about the foot.............lots of people slipped and fell........i did twice.......then after that took baby steps everywhere we went. The mix of suntan oil.....and water make for a nasty slippery environment!
well at least it was the fall that caught you and not the fight that broke out one night...pretty bad....
Great TR, we left the day you arrived....sorry about your foot...it was very slippery, i had to make an effort to take baby steps everywhere as i'm very clumsy :icon_razz:
I just posted about the fight (if its the same one, June 16th), on my TR on here....happened the night we left, so we missed it!
So where are the slippery parts that I need to avoid or be extra careful? I am pregnant and going in July so I need to make sure I don't fall.
Around the pool is slippery and also in the rooms since they are tiled floors. Also be careful as there are steps and ramps leading to different areas that are not very noticeable.
