Can anyone tell me about the weather in Cancun and whats going on with the storm and if they thinks its headed towards Cancun?
rdubnpk As of this morning the National Hurricane center said that development in to the seasons first named storm was "probable". They were anticipating sending a hurricane tracking aircraft out to check on its development (that has since been cancelled). As of now, they see only a 40% chance of development in to a tropical storm. It is currently moving at just 10 miles per hour in a westerly/ north-westerly direction and is centered near Hispanola.
We just got back (didn't stay @ Temptations; had teens with us) and the weather was HORRIBLE!! It stormed all day yesterday and today. I'm actually glad we were able to fly out!!

We got back yesterday........it rained some on Saturday..................but after 10 hot sunny days we welcomed the weather change.........forecast for the next few days doesn't look great.
I just found this on Cancun local weather!!! The TS Alex is about to enter to the Gulf of Mexico as Tropical Depression, we will stop monitoring this system since due to its distance there is no risk for Cancun and the Mayan Riviera, all the warnings for the north part of Quintana Roo has been discontinued
