Hey Ed....my wife and I are just starting to plan our first trip together to TTR...I was just in Cancun for business and never made it over there to check the resort out and meet FF and the rest of your fun group. GREAT report! Sounds like a good time (except the flight!)! I'm having to live the next 8 months through all of the TR's until we get there in March! Steve gets on here too in Iraq and gets more and more anxious with every story! I think they are helping him get thru this deployment!
I know they ar definitely helping get me through my deploment so I know exactly how he feels. Only 28 days left in the sandbox and 6 weeks til TTR
Forgot to add, and I didnt put it in my TR as it happened after I left, but there was a HUGE fight in Paty-O's late one night...a group of 8 completely tattooed single guys jumped one of my friends (they were hitting on his wife and she said NO and they didnt like that)....another guy friend of ours jumped in to help and got completely messed up....cracked ribs, busted lip, nose, black eyes, etc...his wife jumped in to help get the 8 frickin guys off him and one of them punched her in the face....TTR security came, cops came....TTR got it all on camera....4 of the guys went to jail and they were all kicked out of the resort...not our friends, they all got to stay as it wasnt their fault....there was damage done to the Paty-O bar too...Not sure who was there from here and saw it, happened on Wed night, June 16th.
We heard about that when we got there! Red2 told us and then some other people we met that were in a room right above Patty O's.....who heard the whole thing and came out on the balcony to see what was up. Thankfully security got there....
I wish we had been there...Tony would DEFINATELY have jumped in and helped...and I might have too if they were hurting my friends....ugh...at least it was on their last day and not the first that this happened....
That is horrible, I've never heard of such a thing at Temptations... which I might add, thought is was somthing, the amount of drinking, sun and fun. I've been very surprised that we havent seen any fights. Its just really to bad when it happens. What a shitty ending for your friends, I hope it doesn't change how they feel about Temptations...
Well the gang of guys were very young, and had just gotten back from the Clubs, so probably drunk and pumped full of testosterone....we knew they were trouble from the moment we saw them at the pool a few days before...just their demeanor....there are assholes everywhere...and I hope this doesnt change the way they feel about TTR either!
yes they were pretty scary....and we didn't want anything to do with them...also if they were drugged up or something and a few wires touch up there...not really cool...but this is a first that i've heard of....at least they got some jail time....hope the friends are doing ok....
